Good to Know Before Visiting Fun Spot America

Admission to the park grounds is entirely free, meaning guests who only want to watch their friends or family ride do not need to purchase a ticket to enter.

Single-day armbands include unlimited access to all go-kart tracks, roller coasters, and thrill rides, but they do not cover the standalone SkyCoaster or indoor arcade games.

The parks operate under a strict rain check policy where outdoor rides will temporarily close during lightning or severe downpours, but tickets remain valid for a future visit if the weather forces an extended closure.

Parking is completely free of charge for all vehicle types at both the Orlando and Kissimmee locations, with no validation required at the gates.

Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted inside the park grounds, though exceptions are made for essential baby formula or severe dietary medical needs.

Loose items like phones, keys, and glasses are strictly prohibited on all roller coasters, making it necessary to utilize the on-site locker rentals or leave items with a non-riding companion.

Height restrictions are strictly enforced for every attraction to ensure guest safety, so it is highly recommended to check the official height charts at the front gate before purchasing an armband for younger children.

Tickets permit flexible, same-day re-entry, allowing visitors to leave the park for a midday break and return later in the evening without paying any additional fees.

Both locations feature large, climate-controlled indoor arcades that provide a convenient space to escape the midday Florida heat or sudden afternoon rain showers.

About Fun Spot America

About Fun Spot America

Fun Spot America Theme Parks operates as a family-owned business deeply rooted in Central Florida's tourism history. The company’s origins began in 1979 when founder John Arie Sr. launched the original "Fun 'n Wheels" attraction near International Drive, pioneering the concept of an action park built around specialized go-kart tracks.

  • Decades later, the brand evolved into two flagship Florida locations - a 15-acre property in Orlando opened in 1997, and a 10-acre park in Kissimmee established adjacent to Old Town in 2007. Grounded in a commitment to safe, clean, and family-first entertainment, the parks have successfully grown from modest track layouts into fully fledged amusement destinations recognized by roller coaster and thrill enthusiasts worldwide.
  • The defining characteristic of the parks is their hybrid operational model, which blends classic boardwalk nostalgia with cutting-edge thrill engineering. Rather than requiring expensive, all-inclusive resort tickets, the properties permit guests to enter the grounds for free, allowing families to pay only for the attractions they choose to experience. This accessibility makes it simple for visitors to drop in for a few hours to race on the patented multi-level kart tracks, view native wildlife at the Orlando location's Gator Spot, or face record-breaking drop heights on the signature SkyCoasters.
  • By balancing extreme rides with gentle children's midways and massive indoor arcades, the venue provides a customizable, low-stress day of entertainment right in the heart of the Orlando and Kissimmee resort corridors.
  • Orlando Park Area: 15 acres
  • Kissimmee Park Area: 10 acres

Why Visit Fun Spot America?

Fun Spot America features distinct roller coaster experiences that you cannot find anywhere else in the region. The Orlando location is home to White Lightning, the only wooden roller coaster in the city, offering a smooth but classic gravity-driven ride. Meanwhile, the Kissimmee location boasts Mine Blower, which is the only wooden coaster in Florida that turns riders completely upside down.

Patented Multi-Level Go-Kart Tracks

Both parks offer massive, multi-level go-kart tracks designed with steep hills and sharp hairpin turns. In Kissimmee, drivers can tackle the four-story Vortex track, which features a dramatic 32-degree banking curve. Orlando offers multiple multi-level tracks like the Quad Helix and Conquest, providing high-speed, multi-story racing environments for both single and double karts.

World-Record SkyCoasters

Thrill seekers can experience extreme flight by riding the famous SkyCoasters available at both destinations. The Orlando park houses the world's second-tallest SkyCoaster at 250 feet, while the Kissimmee park features the absolute tallest SkyCoaster in the world, standing at 300 feet tall. These attractions lift groups of up to three riders high into the air before plunging them into a massive, high-speed free fall.

Family-Friendly Flexibility

The parks are intentionally structured to accommodate visitors of all ages and interest levels. Alongside extreme thrill rides, both properties feature dedicated kid zones with gentle options like the Sea Serpent coaster, classic carousels, and multi-lane slides. Because admission to the park grounds is free, family members who prefer not to ride can still enter and accompany the group without paying for a ticket.

Massive Indoor Arcades

When guests want a break from the outdoor tracks and coasters, they can step inside expansive, climate-controlled arcade spaces. The Orlando location features a 10,000-square-foot facility packed with hundreds of games, ranging from nostalgic midway favorites to the latest video game releases. Players can collect points across various games and redeem them for prizes at the park prize centers.
