Fun Spot America – Essential Visitor Info

Timings

  • Park Operating Hours
  • Operating hours fluctuate depending on the season and day of the week. During off-peak periods and standard weekdays, the gates typically open at 2:00 PM and close at midnight.
  • On weekends, holidays, and peak summer weeks, the parks open earlier at 10:00 AM, remaining open until midnight to accommodate the crowds.
  • Best Time to Visit
  • To maximize ride access and minimize wait times, the ideal time to arrive is during the early afternoon on standard weekdays.
  • The crowds at both the Orlando and Kissimmee parks naturally increase after 6:00 PM as travelers arrive from the larger surrounding resort areas.
  • Visiting on a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon usually offers the clearest go-kart tracks and shortest roller coaster lines.
  • Estimated Time Needed
  • A standard visit requires approximately 3 to 4 hours to comfortably experience the main highlights, including the multi-level go-kart tracks and signature roller coasters.
  • If your itinerary includes multiple races, arcade gaming, a trip to the alligator exhibit, or the standalone SkyCoaster experience, plan to spend at least 5 hours on-site.

Good to Know Before Visiting Fun Spot America

Admission to the park grounds is entirely free, meaning guests who only want to watch their friends or family ride do not need to purchase a ticket to enter.

Single-day armbands include unlimited access to all go-kart tracks, roller coasters, and thrill rides, but they do not cover the standalone SkyCoaster or indoor arcade games.

The parks operate under a strict rain check policy where outdoor rides will temporarily close during lightning or severe downpours, but tickets remain valid for a future visit if the weather forces an extended closure.

Parking is completely free of charge for all vehicle types at both the Orlando and Kissimmee locations, with no validation required at the gates.

Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted inside the park grounds, though exceptions are made for essential baby formula or severe dietary medical needs.

Loose items like phones, keys, and glasses are strictly prohibited on all roller coasters, making it necessary to utilize the on-site locker rentals or leave items with a non-riding companion.

Height restrictions are strictly enforced for every attraction to ensure guest safety, so it is highly recommended to check the official height charts at the front gate before purchasing an armband for younger children.

Tickets permit flexible, same-day re-entry, allowing visitors to leave the park for a midday break and return later in the evening without paying any additional fees.

Both locations feature large, climate-controlled indoor arcades that provide a convenient space to escape the midday Florida heat or sudden afternoon rain showers.
